Congratulations to the girls in Belgooly who have reached the DGF3 Sciath na Scol final on November 18th at 1pm in Páirc Uí Rinn for the first time in 14 years.
There is fierce excitement in the school and the girls look forward to taking on the girls from Gaelscoil Uí Riada.
The girls played five games in the run up to the final, winning three against Gaelscoil Mainistir na Corann, Scoil na nÓg and Gaelscoil na Dúglaise and had two narrow defeats against Rathcormac and Youghal. The girls were joint winners with Balinadee of the Carraigdhoun Sciath na Scol football blitz recently so we hope this is a good omen for November 18th.

Best of luck to both teams in the final!
